Classes and Information

These are the public classes I am running at the moment.

Next 8 week block starts on Friday, 6th March.

I also run private one-to-one and group classes. These could be normal Iyengar Yoga, desk-based yoga for office workers or Yoga for runners. If you are interested in setting up a class, or if you want a yoga teacher for one-off days such as health days in schools, childrens' yoga workshops or employee de-stress days, please get in touch. General Information

When coming to a yoga class you should wear light, comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. Shorts or leggings with a t-shirt or short sleeved top, but not too baggy. Yoga is practiced bear-foot, but you should bring a pair of socks, along with a warm top, for relaxation at the end of the class.

To avoid discomfort, you should not eat in the 2 to 3 hours (or 4 hours for a heavy meal) prior to a yoga class.

You must inform your teacher of any physical injuries before the class comences or before booking a course.
If you have a medical condition, you should consult your doctor as to the suitability of starting a yoga class.
Please also not that yoga classes are not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, or suffers from any of the following conditions: -

  • Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
  • Conditions accociated with Heart Disease
  • Cancer or Benign Tumours
  • Epilepsy including Petit Mal
  • Diabetes
  • Ménière's Disease
  • Detached Retina
  • AIDS
  • MS (Multiple Sclerosis)
  • ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis)
  • Recent Post-Operative Conditions
